During my time last summer at the
Homestead AK I created a "sweat" lodge out of an abandoned 1986 white Nissan pick-up truck. The ritual took place over a one week period during which time
Faith Johnson,
Richard Spartos, and I would sit in the truck until the windows fully fogged (about an hour). The white truck began to represent purity and the fogged windows acted as the steam of a traditional sweat lodge.
